I spent 20 years inside HVAC. Now I find out why your website isn't ringing the phone.

Manufacturer sales. Distributor training. A $28M residential installation division ranked #1 nationwide. I know how HVAC contractors actually win business — and I know when a website is quietly losing it.

THE PROBLEM

Most website audits are done by people who understand marketing but have never run a truck, trained a technician, or managed an install crew.

They can tell you your site is slow. They can't tell you whether it actually speaks to a homeowner deciding between repair and replacement, or a property manager comparing three bids. I can — because I've stood on both sides of that decision, for two decades.

HOW THIS WORKS

Two steps. Clear price. No handoff to a junior contractor.

01

Website Performance Audit

A structured review of your site scored across four areas that actually drive booked jobs. You get specific, prioritized findings — not a generic "improve your SEO" summary.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

What platform is your site actually on?

The Audit works on any site. The Fix Phase doesn't — how it's delivered depends on whether I can get into your site directly or not.

I WORK DIRECTLY IN THESE
  • WordPress
  • Squarespace
  • Wix
  • Shopify

Fix Phase = I execute the changes myself and you see them go live.

LOCKED / AGENCY-CONTROLLED
  • ServiceTitan
  • Scorpion
  • Other agency-built or vendor-locked sites

Fix Phase = you get a vendor-ready implementation packet to hand to whoever controls the platform. I don't execute changes myself here.

BACKGROUND

Every side of the HVAC channel, 1999 to present.

SEARS

Ran a $28M residential installation division across 3 sales districts — took it to the #1 nationwide ranking for profitability, customer satisfaction, and demand.

EMERSON

Built partnerships with 5 of Emerson's largest national contractors, creating a parts program that drove $50K in new product sales in Chicago alone, while hitting 120% of target in a difficult market.

BIG FOOT SYSTEMS

Secured $3M in new business through partnerships with two national VRF manufacturers, Mitsubishi and Gree USA.

JOHNSON CONTROLS

Generated multimillions in projects in 8 months by winning 11 competitors' accounts.

IRISS

Hit a $1.5M annual sales goal in 6 months — the first employee ever to exceed goals on 3 of 5 product categories.

DRYCOR — CURRENT

Building outbound sales and measurement infrastructure from scratch across seven verticals, including healthcare, manufacturing, and cold storage — the same kind of CRM-driven, fully-tracked campaign work I'd be evaluating your site against.

CREDENTIALS

MBA, Master of Marketing, and BBA — American Intercontinental University. Three separate degrees, so the audit you get is informed by both the operational side of running an HVAC business and the strategic side of positioning and demand generation.

PROOF OF WORK

A completed audit, start to finish.

CASE STUDY — JULY 2026

Doc's Custom Drums

docscustomdrums.com
FOUND

Every page shipped with an empty meta description and leftover template titles ("About 1 — Doc's Custom Drums"). The homepage never stated in plain text what the business does or where it's located — that identity lived only inside images. Individual restoration listings had rich, genuine detail but no consistent spec block, so nothing was structured enough for Google or AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity to reliably surface or cite.

PRESCRIBED FIX

Phase 1: rewrite titles and meta descriptions across all five pages, add a plain-text category-and-location statement plus LocalBusiness schema to the homepage, restructure the About page with headings and Person schema to surface the owner's PhD and decades of percussion credentials, and link featured restorations directly to shop listings — all low-effort, no new platform required.

STATUS

Phase 1 approved for execution on the existing Squarespace site. Deeper catalog and content-authority phases (product schema, an educational article series) are sequenced next.
